Mar Vista Residence

Residential Remodel & Second-Story Addition

2,000 SF Existing Residence + 1,000 SF Addition
Mar Vista, Los Angeles, CA

This comprehensive residential renovation transformed an existing 2,000 SF home in Mar Vista through a thoughtfully integrated 1,000 SF second-story addition, expanding the living space while enhancing the functionality and character of the residence.

The new upper level accommodates a spacious primary suite, an additional en-suite guest bedroom, and a dedicated home office, providing greater flexibility and privacy while making efficient use of the existing property.

The renovation also included updated windows, strategically placed skylights to introduce additional natural light, and new interior finishes throughout. These improvements create brighter, more inviting living spaces and establish a cohesive contemporary aesthetic.

The result is a refreshed and expanded residence that balances modern comfort, efficient space planning, and thoughtful architectural integration between the existing structure and the new addition.
